If you are interested in commissioning a piece of work, first take a photo, or create a file of the text, prose or lyrics of your choice then email it to me at scriptoriumofthecrows@gmail.com having first checked spelling and punctuation, because I will work with what you send me. Please use the links below to see what options are available to customise your bespoke piece. Here is a list of things to consider when choosing:
If you have a specific space to fill, I can create work on any size of paper. Also bear in mind, if you are framing the piece yourself, it’s best to stick to a standard size so you have a wider range of frames to choose from.
Once you have an idea of what you might like I will then produce a draft piece based on what you tell me via email or phone, then send you a photo of the completed draft, along with a price. If you’re happy with the draft, or would like to change something, this can be discussed and agreed at this time.
Dont worry if you are unsure on the options available as I can help advise on layout and artwork if needed.
Look through the Gallery and see if something takes your eye. It’s important to remember that your commission is just that, your choice, unique, original and bespoke.
Once we have a consensus and you are happy to proceed with the final copy, I will send details of how payment can be made. Once payment is received, I then accept the commission and begin working on your bespoke peice.
Completion timescales depend entirely on the size and complexity of the piece but I will give you an approximate date when you can expect your piece to be sent.
Work is sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery, in a sturdy document roll, with glassine paper protecting the artwork.
Postage is FREE to anywhere in United Kingdom.
I don’t offer a framing service because it will be very much a personal choice of frame material and mount based on where it will hang in the house. A good picture framer can advise on mount and frame options. I have used www.cupolaframing.com in Sheffield and can highly recommend them.
